Keeping up with the Kardashians: Who needs a "Fall Fashion Accessory?"

14 Mar

I have NEVER laughed so hard at a Keeping up with the Kardashians episode or one of their spin-off shows (there’s so many who can keep track?) Scott Disek, the elder Kardashian, Kourteney’s, baby daddy and on-again off-again live in boyfriend, used to be an alcoholic asshole. But now that he’s sobered up and became a proud papa he is really starting to grow on me.

One of the best things about Scott is his no holds barred take on fashion. Let’s face it the guy has style and he’s cocky enough to pull it off. So last fall, while shooting scenes for Kourteney and Kim Take New York, Scott decides he needs a new fall fashion accessory, a $3,500 walking stick, a.k.a. a cane. And the dude pulls it off!

Much to Kourteney’s dismay, Scott carries the damn thing everywhere, bringing turmoil and scads of attention wherever they go. Personally, I think it’s hilarious and not many people could pull something like this off as well as he does. Scott has great taste and if pushing the fashion boundaries is the worst that he can do (minus shoving money down waiters throats and destroying Vegas hotel rooms… That was before the rehab… so last year!) then if I was Kourteney, I would be excited. Not only is he matching her style, he is oftentimes outshining her. If it takes a man with a little too much confidence to go for a walking stick, then count me in!

Here is a clip of Scott finding his walking stick (the clips are bad quality, but you can go to Hulu.com to see the entire episode).

And using it.

P.S. His moves are reminiscent of Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain.

You’re welcome.
